School project; I need to recreate Focaults pendulum, Please

I need to recreate Focaults pendulum, Please let me know what you think I am on a budget

So Far I am thinking galvanized cable or aircraft suspension cable (I can only make it 7', This is a college project under grad), or a rod with slight flexibility (yet i have found nothing). A plum bob weighing 32oz (the heaviest one I can find) because I cant find any spherical and symmetrical bobs. Can someone point me in the right direction for a low friction swivel 360degrees and pendulus. If I can just get this baby to go for 8 hours I am good, I am really hopping to be way above the 2hour mark. Suggestions, questions, comments all welcome thank you for your time!

Google: how to build a pendulum science project and you'll find a lot of references/instructions.
