The superscript is OK for me. And the subscript is OK mid=post:

It may be that IE doesn't support .png images too well? I use Firefox on Linux, and the image rendering is very nice.
I'll look into it.

I find this kind of forum a good medium for communications, so I'm not attracted to a chat facility myself. Sorry. I've got Skype but find I don't really use it.
